FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is beneficial for addressing subtle misalignments of the vertebrae in the spine, known as subluxations. These subluxations can cause two main issues: improper joint movement leading to degeneration, and nerve interference that disrupts communication between the brain and body, resulting in decreased function of certain glands, tissues, or organs. Chiropractic care is a proactive approach to health that can help you avoid a crisis.

Why do I have to come in more than once?

Just like going to the gym to get stronger requires regular visits over time, so does correcting subluxations. We need to retrain muscles and ligaments so they work properly and allow you to enjoy your favorite activities at your best.

Why do you want me to keep coming even after I feel better or out of pain?

Think of it this way: once you started brushing your teeth, did you ever stop brushing them? The same principle applies here - your spine supports your entire body and protects important parts of your nervous system like the spinal cord and nerve roots. If it's not functioning optimally, it won't be able to support or protect as well as it should. Many patients find that they feel so great after their adjustment that they make chiropractic care a part of their life.

Why does it cost so much?

It may seem like more than you expected but consider this: if conditions progress and get worse over time, will it cost more money or less money in the future to take care of them? Additionally, we provide several therapies and modalities beyond adjustments that help you get better faster - all for one fair price. We also offer payment plans to make chiropractic care affordable for everyone.

Why don't you take my insurance?

It's important to understand that health insurance policies are actually sick insurance policies - they don't really care if you're healthy or not; all they want is your premium payments which go up every year while benefits go down. Is your health more important than what an insurance company thinks about it?

Why doesn't my co-pay cover the cost of the visit?

Your co-pay only covers part of the cost of an adjustment; other therapies and modalities are included in our fee structure as well.

Why should I care about nerve interference?

Your nervous system controls everything in your body; without proper communication between the brain and body, you won't be able to live up to your full potential or enjoy activities as much as possible.

Why should I care about my spine?

Your spine supports your body and protects part of your nervous system from damage; if neglected, it will age faster leading to degenerative disc disease which can have a negative impact on overall health.
